Égal

ÉGAL

By the people, for the people

ÉGAL is a project that emphasises social responsibility by connecting the community, creating jobs / education and preserving traditions.

Studies show people who relocate for work or studies often suffer from identity crisis and feel a disconnect from their community / region.

We aimed to solve this by creating a brand of hats (symbol of liberty in France) that allows these people to reconnect with the tradition and community of the region whilst creating jobs and apprenticeship studies.

The project targeted 3 main regions touched by this issue in France, Corsica (Corzy), Brittany (Breizh) and Pays-Basque (Euskadi). However the principle could be adapted to other regions worldwide. Each region is represented by a traditional hat from this specific region’s tradition.
Locals benefit from this project by having jobs and new education whilst the ones who relocated can connect with the region through community and traditional products and knowledge the brand offers.

This project has multiple positive effect such as rebounding communities, creating new jobs & studies as well as
keeping the traditions and culture alive.

Research Project

The triangle is one of the primary shapes alongside square and circles. However, through studies, I discovered that the triangle is the only shape that doesn’t has it’s pixel.

I decided to investigate this further and identified that the triangle provides the best pixel to represent shapes, objects or people. Two triangles can represent two different colours in the same space as 1 square, providing a richer picture quality / definition.

I created a series of posters, reworking Victor Van Gaasberg's work, sliced pixels, to represent my findings.

Branding passport

BRANDING PASSPORT

Brand workshop

The personality of a brand is the essence of this one. It embodies all the values, missions and visions the brand represents.
However, brand strategy can seem very complex and daunting, when we first come across it.

After studying it at university I decided to create this branding passport regrouping my branding knowledge as well as some brand workshops.
It represent my knowledge as a strong identity that I can carry anywhere around the world with me, in a designed manner that represent
my creative skills.
