SOUS LE PONT MIRABEAU
BnF - National library of France
Guillaume Apollinaire was a French poet, writer, artist. He was pioneer in many respects and was famous for the way he represented
his poems as calligrams.
In 2013, the National library of France decided to celebrate the 100 years of Apollinaire’s collection of poems “Sous le Pont Mirabeau”.
For this occasion, we created a video representing all the various areas of archives the Bnf offers such as art, music & literature. Apollinaire is represented through his most famous poem, written, recorded, as well as a calligrams. The background recording is Apollinaire himself reading his poem, recorded in 1919.
